Elisa Massoth

Elisa G . Massoth practices state and federal criminal defense and real estate law throughout the Treasure Valley.   Her practice also includes estate planning and general litigation.  She is graduate of both Boise State University and the University of Idaho, earning her  juris doctorate in 1997.  Ms. Massoth initially clerked for Idaho Supreme Court Justice Joel Horton, followed by employment with one of Idaho’s biggest law firms, Moffatt, Thomas, Barrett, Rock & Fields.   At Moffatt Thomas, she focused primarily on business and real-estate practice.   At the City of Boise, where she spent five years prosecuting, Ms. Massoth climbed the employment ranks to become a Senior Staff Attorney managing a large team of attorneys and became one of its most successful trial attorneys.

Ms. Massoth is known for her attention to detail, persistence and skill.  She is comfortable in her role as zealous advocate whether practicing in a small town courtroom in rural Idaho or a federal courtroom.  She has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and frequently handles cases at the state and federal appellate level.

In her spare time Ms. Massoth enjoys road and mountain biking in the summer and skiing with her family in the winter.
